Dolph found CrossFit in 2004 while flipping through a fitness magazine and has been hooked ever since. He enjoys learning new movements and pushing himself far beyond what he thought possible. He looks forward to the challenges ahead and loves coaching athletes of all levels. He believes that achievement is the greatest reward. Dolph enjoys any outdoor activity he can share with his wife, Patti, and four active children.
Laura Brock

Laura found Crossfit in April 2010 when she became bored and unmotivated by the gym workouts that were no longer giving her the results she wanted. She stated “Crossfit pushes me outside of my comfort zone and encourages me to continually set and reach new goals.” Personally she strives to lift more and and move faster. She enjoys the support and motivation the Crossfit community provides, and loves to help others push through their perceived limitations about themselves.

Russ has been a proponent of functional fitness his entire life and it has served him well during his 30 years in the law enforcement field. He found Crossfit in November of 2009 and looks forward to sharing his knowledge and experience with the Crossfit Mercer community.

Joey was introduced to the Crossfit by Dolph Geurds and became hooked. What started as a plan to get in better shape quickly turned into an obsession that allowed him to look and feel great, and gave him the confidence that he could conquer anything. His dedication and commitment to personal improvement in CrossFit has carried into all other aspects of his life. When asked what keeps him coming back for more, Joey cites the Crossfit community.
Joey has a passion for seeing people overcome the personal barriers that hold them back from achieving all they can be, and recommends CrossFit to people of all ages as a vehicle to achieve sustainable success.
Lee Leeper

Lee was introduced to Crossfit in 2009 and immediately fell in love. The challenges she experiences while doing Crossfit makes her former workouts seem easy and she has pushed herself to levels of strength and endurance that she did not think possible. Lee is no stranger to difficult workouts as she comes from a competitive gymnastics background. It is this experience that gives her a genuine love for coaching athletes. She relates that to her, the most rewarding facet of coaching is seeing the excitement in the eyes of her athletes when they finally nail a PR they have labored to master or get that one movement perfect at long last. In an effort to continuously improve, Lee is studying to be a certified nutritionist. The most satisfying aspects of her life is the time spent with her family, being at the beach and of course, doing her Crossfit workouts.
Stefanie Neubauer

Stefanie believes there is no better feeling than being strong and fit, and that Crossfit is the most effective way to get there. When she first tried Crossfit she immediately knew that the training would not only satisfy her desire to compete but it would also challenge her to strengthen her weaknesses. The supportive and enthusiastic Crossfit community also motivated her to come back for more. In years prior to Crossfit, Stefanie was an avid runner and had completed several half marathons. She had also been an Ultimate Frisbee player since college and competed at the Club Nationals level. Stefanie is a trained school psychologist and has coached youth soccer. She enjoys motivating people to work harder than they thought they could. Personally she strives to lift more, move faster and to be a healthy and strong role model for her two young sons and other moms.

Tonya was introduced to Crossfit in 2010 and was happy to find workouts that didn’t involve mirrors or flexing. She states “I admire bodybuilders, but wanted something more. Crossfit gives me the strength training I desire in combination with gymnastics and metabolic conditioning.” She became Crossfit Level 1 certified in May of 2011 and has a passion for motivating others in the gym. “I feel as if the Crossfit Coaches give me a gift every time they train me beyond my limits. I too want to give that gift to others.”
Her son is almost 2 years old and she can’t wait to get him involved in Crossfit Kids. She believes there is no better place to build confidence, discipline and strength than in the gym. When she isn’t crossfitting, she can be found at home, with her biggest love, family.
Jamie Riese

Jamie and fitness go hand in hand. Jamie found Crossfit in April of 2011 after looking for a workout program more challenging and stimulating. He quickly took an interest in the idea that Crossfit is both a physical and mental stimulator for everyone. It was an easy decision for him to bring his teaching background to the ‘box.’
Jamie has been involved in a number of physical activities throughout his life. He decided to follow his love for fitness by pursuing a career in that field. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from The College of NJ, where he also played baseball. He currently teaches Health and Physical Education and coaches baseball at Steinert High School in Hamilton, NJ.
Michael Rosenberg

Michael is a generalist who kettle-belled for six years and crossfitted for four. He has been training in martial arts since the age of seven, including ishanru, karate, juijitsu and tai chi. Michael sticks with Crossfit because of the peace of mind and sense of community it provides. When he is not with his Crossfit family, he is working with dogs to lessen the gulf between people and their animals. He enjoys coaching athletes of all calibers!
Amy Smith (Temple)

Amy has been physically active her whole life and believes exercise is the best gift you can give yourself. She has a background in swimming, softball and gymnastics. Amy met Dolph in 2009 when he approached her with the option of stepping off the elliptical and doing Crossfit with him. She was hooked! The group was amazing and the support, along with the competitiveness, kept her coming back for more. Now 3 years later, she can’t imagine a day without Crossfit.
Being a wife and mother of three kids, she understands the demands and needs a family can put on a parent. That is why Crossfit ‘fit’ her life. The workouts are not long and drawn out, but shorter and more effective. Having back troubles herself in the past, she understands the concerns one might have when entering a Crossfit facility and viewing the ‘non-standard’ way we exercise. But safety is definitely of utmost importance and all the workouts are scalable and modified to fit each athlete. She looks forward to meeting and coaching new members, not only to get them in the best shape of their life, but to help them get their ‘Best Life!’

my son Brandon Barboza goes to Stinert HS and he was encouraged to participate of the fitness training. I would like to know where do I have to register him and make the payment. And I also would like to know if I qualify for the 15% off since I work for the State of NJ. Look forward hearing from you soon.

We are having a Grand Opening on Feb 26th from 10-1. There will be a live band, food and demos going on. It would be great if you and your son could come by for a quick tour. You can drop off the contract, waiver and payment then. The discount would be for your membership, your son’s training has already been discounted based on the school and group size.
